The Story –
Cipla was experiencing the issue of ampoule breakage during direct transit from their manufacturing facility to hospitals.
Their existing packaging consisted of thermoformed plastic/thermocol clamped trays and an outer paperboard carton, which could not efficiently aid in easy dispensing, leading to breakage of ampoules during dispensing and transit.
Our Brief –
To develop packaging to solve the issue of breakage of ampoules during transit.
The Solution –
We developed a collapsible, 3 axes protection system that suspended the product in the center of the package, thereby addressing eliminating the issue of breakage. The insert was collapsible, easy to assemble, and securely held the ampoule in place also aided in easy dispensing.
