The Story –
Cafe Coffee Day was looking for packaging which could be adapted for either of their food: Biryani or Pizza with corresponding accompaniments, for takeaway and delivery options. They wanted the packaging to have a freebie element for user engagement and brand retention.
The packaging was to be designed for take-away, delivery and required easy and quick assembly while securely holding the contents.
Our Brief –
To develop packaging which could hold either of the food items: Biryani or Pizza along with additional complimentary items like raita or seasonings etc., along with a freebie which could help in user engagement and brand retention.
The Solution –
We adapted an existing design: Self-forming pack, which is a collapsible, quick, and easy to assemble pack. The pack aided in the quick and easy assembly while securely holding the contents in place during transit.
The pack had a detachable coaster of characters serving as collectibles for brand retention and user engagement.
